Fable: Arlington Career Center Student Show
SEE EVENT DETAILS FOR EXACT DATES & TIMES OF SHOW & RECEPTION
Storytelling is the oldest human tradition, and each of us carries our own experiences with fables, legends, and myths. Across cultures, religions, and families, we pass down collective beliefs—moral tales for children, origin myths, and superstitions that shape our understanding of the world.
The Fable Gallery invites student artists to tell their stories in their own styles or create new folklore for a new era. Through their lens, we watch the timeless tradition of storytelling evolve and unfold in fresh and unexpected ways.
This exhibition marks the sixth collaboration between Arlington Artists Alliance and the Arlington Career Center. Guided by mentorship from Alliance staff and volunteers, students take part in every step of producing a professional art show—from curating the exhibition and designing promotional materials to preparing inventory details and pricing their work.
Join us at the opening reception to enjoy live music, refreshments, and light fare, and support these talented young artists.
Arlington Artists Alliance will donate 30% of all gallery proceeds from the exhibition to the Arlington Career Center Art Department.
